Veterinary Medicines

The VDDN focuses on the veterinary medicines which have the status "freely available" and "URA" in the Netherlands. These are veterinary medicines which can be sold without the intervention of a veterinarian.

 

So-called free available veterinary medicines are: vitamins, minerals, trace elements, electrolytes,calcium/magnesium salts, laxative and anti-diarrhea products and homeopathic veterinary medicines, which are registered as veterinary medicines in the Netherlands.

 

To the Group veterinary medicines, which have the status "freely available" and "URA" in the Netherlands, belong: products against worms, products against parasites and fungi, tranquilizers and nonsteroidal pain-, fever-and anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

The Members and the VDDN want to contribute to sustainable and healthy livestock farming.
